Hi, I’m Jon. To mark my 40th I set myself the challenge of attending every round of the 2017 British GT championship – including Spa Francorchamp!!!
To many hard core motorsport fans, I’m sure this doesn’t sound that challenging. But for me, despite having a super supportive, motorsport loving family – I had only ever previously managed a few rounds of various GT championships.
So why the British GT championship? Well first off I just love GT race cars. Their looks and sounds are just immense. And the racing is so close and exciting. Couple this with a paddock that is so accessible and friendly – it really is a great race series!
